The Pathos is designed for the feel of an American-style tube amp channel. Its versatility comes from smooth and edge voicing's ranging from an emotive crunch all the way to scorching, yet controlled distortion and sustain. The voicing's can be sculpted via musically-tuned EQ shelves and a mid control, as well as potent gain and level controls. These precision tools allow it to add a push to a driven amp, full-on distortion in front of a clean amp, or a boost in front of a digital modeler.
